A4M, SSRP, and Peptavo compared. Peptavo is the clear winner on value: the lowest price at $2,900, 20 approved credits from one on-demand course, and bonus modules and clinic resources included.

Peptavo is the clear winner on value among the three main peptide therapy certifications. It has the lowest price at $2,900, it delivers the most credit you can earn from a one-purchase certification at 20 approved credits, and it adds two bonus modules and a set of clinic resources on top. A4M and SSRP are the two established alternatives. A4M splits its certification across two paid modules and requires a membership to certify, and SSRP builds its course around an annual in-person event with CME approval listed as pending.
This guide compares the three on format, cost, credit, and eligibility, using what each provider lists on its own pages, and explains where Peptavo comes out ahead.
Figures as listed by each provider in October 2026. Prices, dates, and credit can change, so confirm them on the provider's page before you enroll. Peptavo publishes this comparison and is one of the three programs in it.

Peptavo costs $2,900, paid once. That covers the full curriculum, the accredited activity, and the certification, with no membership and no second module to buy.
A4M lists each of its two required modules at $2,750 for physicians and $2,250 for allied health professionals. The full certification therefore comes to $5,500 or $4,500 before the required membership, which is $2,600 more than Peptavo for a physician and $1,600 more for allied health. SSRP lists its digital edition at $3,995, which is $1,095 more than Peptavo, or $2,995 for members who also pay for Pro membership at $999.50 per year.
Peptavo's activity carries 20 credits through Pinnacle Conference, LLC, which is jointly accredited by the ACCME, the ACPE, and the ANCC. Joint accreditation means the credit is designated in the form each profession's board recognizes: AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for physicians, ANCC contact hours for nurses, ACPE credit for pharmacists, and AAPA Category 1 CME for physician assistants, along with designations for dentists and athletic trainers.
Sixteen of the 20 hours are identified as pharmacotherapeutic content, which nurses and nurse practitioners may self-report as pharmacology credit. The accreditation page carries the full designation statements, so you can check your own designation before you pay.
The whole course is on demand. There is no travel, no conference weekend to block out, and no waiting for the next event date. You can start the day you enroll and work through the modules between patients.
Peptavo is taught by Jesse Morse, MD. Its 12 modules cover protocols for more than 30 peptides, from mechanism through dosing, sequencing, and monitoring. Modules 1 through 10 form the accredited activity, and one course earns the certification. For more detail on what the credential covers, read What Is a Peptavo Certification?
The 20 credits come from Modules 1 through 10. Everything below is also included in the same $2,900:
Enrollment is open and there is no licensure check at purchase, so a practice can certify its physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses on the same course. The material is written at the level of a clinician who prescribes and manages patient care.
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine presents its Peptide Therapy Certification in two modules, and both must be completed to certify. The modules run as live events and are also sold on demand.
The continuing education credit is provided through The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, an ACCME-accredited provider. GWU's listings for the live modules designate a maximum of 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits each, and A4M's on-demand page lists the same maximum for Module I.
What to weigh: the certification takes two separate purchases, A4M states that membership in A4M or the International Peptide Society is required to certify, and only licensed healthcare practitioners may enroll. A4M is a reasonable fit for clinicians who already hold a membership and want a live conference setting.
Seeds Scientific Research and Performance, founded by orthopaedic surgeon William Seeds, MD, runs its Peptide Therapy Certification as an annual course. The 2026 edition was held in person on September 11 and 12 in Orlando, Florida, across two days and 23 sessions, and SSRP lists a digital on-demand edition for release in the fourth quarter of 2026.
For continuing education, SSRP lists "16+ CME Hours" of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit through Northeast Ohio Medical University and marks the approval as pending. SSRP also states that the 2026 course includes access to more than 50 hours of material from its 2022 through 2025 courses.
What to weigh: the digital edition lists at $3,995 without a membership, the lower price depends on paying for Pro membership, and the credit is still listed as pending approval. SSRP is a reasonable fit for clinicians who specifically want to learn from Dr. Seeds and his faculty.
Choose Peptavo if you want the lowest price, 20 approved credits from a single purchase, bonus material included, and a course you can start today and finish on your own schedule. It is the strongest fit for nurse practitioners tracking pharmacology hours, pharmacists reporting through CPE Monitor, physician assistants claiming AAPA credit, and practices certifying several clinicians at once. Peptavo has a page for each profession: physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and athletic trainers.
Choose A4M if you already hold an A4M or International Peptide Society membership and want live training inside a large conference.
Choose SSRP if you plan to attend its annual event in person or want its archive of earlier courses.
On value, Peptavo. It is the lowest price of the three, it delivers 20 approved credits from one purchase, and it includes two bonus modules and a set of practice resources at no extra cost. A4M suits clinicians who want live conference training, and SSRP suits those who want its faculty.
Peptavo, at $2,900 for the full certification with no membership. SSRP's digital edition is $3,995, or $2,995 for Pro members with membership billed separately. A4M's two required modules total $5,500 for physicians and $4,500 for allied health professionals, with membership billed separately.
Peptavo's 20 credits are approved and designated for six professions, with 16 hours identified as pharmacology content for nurse practitioners. A4M lists a higher total, up to 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for each live module, and reaching it means buying both modules. SSRP lists "16+ CME Hours" with approval pending.
Peptavo. Its activity designates ANCC contact hours for nurses and nurse practitioners and AAPA Category 1 CME for physician assistants, and it identifies 16 pharmacology hours that nurse practitioners can self-report toward recertification. It is also the lowest listed price of the three.
Peptavo has open enrollment. A4M states that only licensed healthcare practitioners may enroll in its certification. SSRP is open to providers with or without prescriptive authority. In every case, how continuing education credit counts toward renewal is decided by your own licensing board.
No. Prescribing authority comes from your state license and scope of practice, and no peptide certification is a legal requirement or a substitute for a license. A certification documents training. Whether you may prescribe, dispense, or administer a given peptide is decided by your license, your board, and federal and state rules on approved and compounded drugs.
Peptavo is the clear winner on value: the lowest price of the three, 20 approved, jointly accredited credits from a single on-demand course, bonus modules and clinic resources included, and no membership to maintain. A4M and SSRP remain solid choices for clinicians who want a live conference or a specific faculty, at a higher total cost.
